'Aloka
Pooja' lights up Tantirimale The Thanthirimale Shrine is believed to have been built during the 3rd century BC and history has it that Bhikkuni Sanghamitta carrying the Sri Maha Bodhi Sapling rested here when on her way to Anuradhapura. Thanthirimale is accessible both via Anuradhapura and Medawachchiya. |
