Kadir to meet new Indian Premier, Foreign Minister
Foreign Minister Lakshman Kadirgamar is visiting India on a six-day official tour to make his first high-level contact with leaders of the newly elected Congress-led government.

During his second visit within a month to India, Minister Kadirgamar is to call on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Foreign Minister Natwar Singh and other senior government leaders to brief them of the current status on the peace process in Sri Lanka.

Mr. Kadirgamar cancelled a scheduled visit to Brussels this week due to a flu, but had a telephone conversation with EU's External Relations Commissioner Chris Patten.
