Back to ‘Colombo 2000’ with Damage
‘The Boom’, popular night club of the Galadari will revert to its former Name ‘Colombo 2000’ from February 14. The re-launching ceremony will be held on Valentine’s Day with special celebrations along side the romantic bash. Popular band Damage will be in action on Saturday night with DJ Timmy. The club will be opened from Wednesday to Sunday. DJ music will be the main source of dance music on all days except on Saturdays.

The ticket price includes a special event and a snack menu. Damage Comprises Oshan, Chaminda, Ashantha, Inshi, Sajith and Michelle. Ashantha Perera is the leader of the band and he handles keyboards, Oshan Sampath and Chaminda Dantila are on drums and guitar respectively.

Leader Ashantha was with bands ‘Image’ and ‘X’Periments’ and Chaminda was with Ecstasy and ‘Fatal Knights’, Oshan too was with ‘Image’. Bassist Inshi Deen was an ex-member of Dream Team and ‘Zeals’. Vocalists Sajith and Michelle were also with ‘Dream Team’. ‘Damage’ was performing at ‘The Hut’ during Summer of 2003.
