UK jobs for doctors
Windsor Global (Pvt) Ltd, part of Sri Lanka's VCOM group, has close to 850 jobs to fill in countries like the UK, New Zealand, Bermuda, Kuwait, Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Oman for doctors, nurses, administrative secretaries, pharmacists, medical record officers and physiotherapists/radio therapists.

A spokesman for the company said they were presently in the process of recruiting these qualified professionals. Doctors would receive salaries ranging from Rs 400,000 to one million per month and for specialists, more. Nurses salaries are listed at Rs 200,000 to 600,000 with a four-year contract. Once they complete their contract, there is a likelihood of them being eligible to apply for British Resident Visas.

The group's flagship company, VCOM Heavy Engineers (Pvt) Ltd with several subsidiaries has formed VCOM International UK Ltd aimed at expanding trading and international business.
