‘Tea’ party at Tea Factory
Tea Factory Hotel in Kandapola, Nuwara Eliya has introduced some of the top, Christmas recipes based on ‘Tea’. Tea Factory Hotels, the only hotel in the world, where a traditional tea factory is turned into a modern luxury hotel.

‘Tea’ has been the base for this place for decades, and its influence come on to the menu of this hotel. ‘Grilled Turkey Breast with Mushroom sauce and Tea Cream, herb Mashed Potatoes and buttered vegetable’ is one of the popular dish on the menu.

‘Smoked Chicken salad with Tea vinaigrette, ‘Cream Cauliflower and Tea Soup, Tea Ginger Mousse in Tulip, with Strawberry Coulis’ and ‘Tea based preparation of mutton black curry are some of the other popular dishes available for the season.

Apart from ‘Spice Tea with cardamoms, cinnamon, lime, mint leaves and vanilla, ‘Tannenbaum’ is a popular drink with layers of orange juice, Thersett’s Black Tea and sugar syrup with Arrack blended cream. ‘Tea Factory Hotel’ is a popular destination among overseas and Sri Lankan visitors.
