Hair moving to England
Darrell Hair, one of Australia's most experienced umpires who is also a member of the ICC's elite umpires panel will move out of his native land go to live in England.
Hair who took centre stage in world cricket when he called spinner Muttiah Muralitharan for 'chucking' during Sri Lanka's tour of Australia during their 1995 tour was quoted as saying: " I'm looking forward to what lies ahead but I will certainly miss Australia".

The Sri Lankan spinner was later cleared by the ICC. Hair will continue as an international umpire working for the ICC, but now the question at hand will be whether he will be considered an English umpire or an Australian umpire by the ICC and whether he will be eligible to stand in matches that are played by Australia.
