Daring woman

A rapt audience watched intently as spectacular models showed off Andre Estefan's collection for the coming year at 'Haute Couture 2004'.

The catwalk at the Colombo Plaza Atrium lobby was lined with crimson rose petals and on the ramp, the models dazzled in the sultry Estefan creations.

Beautiful fabrics were a highlight of this show as were varying skirt lengths from sweeping evening gowns to skimpy cocktail dresses in see-through lace.

Feathers decorated necklines and boob tops. Striking halter tops had exciting laced backviews and flounces and frills in front. Wrap and scrunched fabrics were a favourite for evening wear.

All in all, the show true to the designer's prediction unveiled creations for a woman who dares to be different. The models’ hairstyles were by Kess.
