Rain halts Trinity

Trinity gave a good all round display as they out batted and out bowled the St. Sebastian's in their rain curtailed Elephant Lemonade Trophy match at the Asgiriya stadium yesterday.

Run making was difficult on a wet, heavy outfield and the Trinitians occupied the crease for 80 overs for their 188 runs. The visitors were content to play out a no-decision as Trinity's consistent wicket takers Muneer and Munaweera made early inroads to finish with 3 for 42. All rounder Munaweera( 3 for 33) bowled well for Trinity.
