Kingswood hold S.Thomas' By Shamil Amit
Rain helped Kingswood to hold S. Thomas' to a no-decision in their Lemonade Trophy inter-school encounter at Mt. Lavinia yesterday.

S. Thomas' lost 35 overs for the day as rains halted play in the morning session. Play resumed only at 2.15 p.m. At close of play Kingswood were struggling at 105 for 8, with Thomian bowlers P. Rodrigo ( 3 for 22) and S. Mendis ( 3 for 24 ) making inroads into the Kandy lads' batting. For Kingswood D. Dahanayake top scored with 47.
S. Thomas' - 307 for 7 declared.

St. Aloysius Ratnapura dazzle
A determined skilful hundred by Sri Rahula's vice captain Vindika Prasanna was of no avail as St. Aloysius, Ratnapura made a good reply and managed to overtake their opponent's total off the last ball of the match in the Elephant Lemonade Trophy schools cricket match which ended in a draw.
