CSE launches new website

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) last week launched its new website - www.cse.lk.

The new site contains a host of new features such as a live market ticker, real-time graphs, turnover, volumes and index levels. Additional information such as the top five gainers and losers, also in real-time is available on the new site. The live market ticker is streamed as trades happen, flashing such information as company name, cumulative quantity traded for the day, share prices and price movements.

Real-time graphs log the movement of both the All Share Price Index (ASPI) and Milanka Price Index (MPI). In addition, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly comparison graphs are also available for the two indices. Another new service featured on the website, "Portfolio Tracker", enables subscribers to select a portfolio of their own and track the movement of these companies online. The launch of the new website is in keeping with the CSE's objective to provide a superior and enhanced service to current investors and those who are looking into investing in the stock market, the exchange said in a statement.
