UAL rewards careful drivers

Union Assurance Ltd (UAL) has launched the Privileged Customers' Rewards Programme for motor insurance policyholders rewarding customers with no claim bonuses (NCBs) for a specific period, through special privileges and discounts on a wide range of goods and services offered by reputed service providers associated with the automobile industry, at renewal.

The company said this range includes discounts on vehicle servicing, gas conversions, interior cleaning, tyres and wheel alignment, battery suppliers, auto air conditioning servicing, audio equipment installation, alarm and security devices and a variety of vehicle accessories.

"Most insurers increase their rates to reflect the additional risk, in the case of a client with an unsatisfactory claims experience. But the customer with no claims for several years is largely ignored and the discounts offered to him for not claiming, are standard throughout the industry.

We are confident that our programme will meet this shortcoming by giving these customers their due reward," explained CEO UAL H.A. Rehmanjee.
