'Linda McCartney story'
It is 1965, and young Linda Eastman (Elizabeth Mitchell), a divorced single mother and talented photographer, gets a break when her friend invites her to a party to take pictures of a new band from England, the Rolling Stones. The publication of the resulting photos launches her career as a rock 'n' roll photographer.

Her assignments eventually bring her into contact with Paul McCartney (Gary Bakewell), co-leader of the world's most popular group, the Beatles. Paul and Linda hit it off instantly, and she soon follows him to his country estate where they begin what will be a life-long, fairytale romance.

Their love sustains them through crises including the breakup of the Beatles and the death of Paul's former bandmate John Lennon. But their greatest test lies ahead, as Linda fights an ultimately losing battle with cancer as she continues to publish her photography, prepare for her daughter's wedding, and promote the causes of animal rights and vegetarianism.
